We have a little corridor that goes from the living room to downstairs. It had a dark lampshade and was very dingy. I got a cheap paper lampshade and we hung a mirror we’d inherited with the house and it has made a huge difference. When we clear the downstairs corridor and open the back door, we’ll probably use this more as the door at the bottom there goes into the corridor and to the back door.
I read in the newspaper that a brand new search and rescue boat was being launched this week which is going to patrol the coast of Spain. Then I realized that the boat had actually been built in Burela and we’d seen it. This is a photo I took in July. I’m not sure if I had intended to take a photo of the search and rescue boat or if it just happened to be there. But anyway – here it is hot off the press!
I think we’ve seen it a couple of times at sea, so I wonder if that was for testing.
