The 3 kings came to town!
Unlike our Villagarcia kings, these arrived on camels. Also, they didn’t do a tour of the town, just appeared to go up one street. But they were throwing sweets for the children – so that was the same!
This was the first time we’ve been to San Cibrao when it’s dark enough to see the lights. It did look very pretty.
So now Christmas is at an end, I wonder when they will take down our decoration outside. I think we’ll miss seeing this from the kitchen window – won’t it seem dull outside!
…and this just made me smile!
Viviero
The best place for pet food is a supermarket in Viviero (the place we went to see the nativity scene). It’s about 20km (12 miles) and we stopped to look at a beach which is just outside the town.
San Cibrao
This is the best beach for beach glass – absolutely no idea why! This derelict building below is an old fish processing factory. There’s two, this one and then one the other side of the estary that runs through the town.
And I took the photo of the boat, just because they look so cartoon like when they are out of the water like this!
And a trip to San Cibrao wouldn¡’t be the same without seeing the mermaid 🙂
