Some of my younger students are getting picked up in cars after class at midday. Normally their parents bring their bikes or scooters and they head off biking or scootering, but the parents don’t like the young ones being out at midday in this heat.
We saw that the temperature was dropping to 34, which we welcomed! It’s been a long time since we’ve had proper rain so I won’t be surprised if there’s a low water warning soon. When we were first here, water was switched off for part of the day. We haven’t been in that situation since so I hope that this isn’t a sign that we’re due for a water crisis!
Alfie seems OK and has had no other seizures so we’re just keeping an eye on him.
Primrose is completely settled in and is quite a cuddle cat. I woke up and found myself cuddling her last night and I think she must have wormed her way under my arm!
