We went shopping and then headed to the other side of the estuary in San Cibrao and had a picnic looking over the beach from the other side. It was quite a different view. The mermaid is there towards the right of the pic.
We had our picnic at the remains of an old fish processing factory. I’m guessing that the fishing boats must have dropped the fish off directly outside.
I’d originally thought that this was an old ceramics factory, because of the chimney – but apparently not!
