ASDA

Went to ASDA yesterday and had not made a note of the cars registration. So in a carpark full of seemingly similar cars, I was left with the horrible feeling I was going to have to wait before everyone left before I could find mine. (This really happened to me at Glastonbury once, when I had a hire car and could not only not remember what car it was but also couldn’t remember the hire car company (and of course all info about car left in car. As I was hiring a car becuase I had locked my keys into boot of another car and a new key had to be cut, digitalised and then shipped from Germany, I was not best pleased when I found I had to wait another three days to see which cars were left to identify the hire car). Anyway, it was great to go to ASDA and not have that worry about whether the car was going to start again – or whether I was going to get home.

Scooter is becoming a challenge. She can move very fast and is determined to get back into the house, or to but our legs. She now excepts the bucket as her mother, but recognises that we have something to do with it too. In the mornign when we let her out she gets tangled up in our feet and is generally a nusense. We have said we ar not going to buy any more milk so I am desperately trying to wean her. trouble is Freckles now knows that there is food somewhere around Scooter, so is inclined to come up and eat all her food.

New Lamb from Monday is doing well, she doesn’t seem to have been traumatised by my intervention in her birth.

This morning it was so foggy that we couldn’t see any of the garden.

I did some more wool dying yesterday, but Ian made me hang it up outside to dry as he said that damp wool smell might not be what we want to present to potential buyers. We have a second viewing today so fingers crossed.
