I thought that it would be great if Ian and I wore bells so that Pirata could hear where we are. So much so that I’ve been looking for Morris Men bells that we could wear. I must admit that I’ve been a little surprised by Ian’s refusal to embrace this obviously brilliant idea. I’ve even given him some options of a knitted ankle warmer with bells on it or a felted pair of slippers with bells on the toes – his reaction to both has been quite frankly disappointing. Shame really as I’ve ordered 100 small bells and 20 big bells.
I shall make some toys with some of the bells as it’s quite difficult finding interesting cat toys here. Particularly interesting toys that make a noise. The cats love little felt balls, so I might try sewing a bell onto one of these and seeing if Pirata likes that. That just leaves 99 small bells and 20 big bells to do something with….
