Well talk about a shock. Just went upstairs, looked out the window and thought firstly how tiny Tiny was looking, then Tiny walked in front of the tiny lamb and I realised that this was a new one, it had that shaky leg and wobbly stance of newborns. Reckon no more than three or so hours old? One Horn has had the lamb that we had given up on. Even joked about how she was the one that we *knew* was pregnant and low – was the only one that did not have a baby.
Obviously the most beautiful Herdwick lady lamb that we have ever seen. Hopefully without her mothers temperment!
So that’s 100% from Horrace – ok 80% male but still a good rate.
