Britain’s Got Talent

Without a tv we miss out quite a lot of what goes on entertainmentwise. Therefore I only see this for the first time this week when I was looking for videos to use in class with teenagers.

We’ve had quite a lot of fun with this – as they enjoy the video (I stop it half way and they have to guess what he is going to do) – and there are comprehension questions under the video for them to do after. And just as they start to get bored, I’ve told them that there’s a new competition called ‘Villagarcia’s Got Talent’ and they are either a judge or a contestant and they have to say what act they would do or like to see. The most strange so far is Carlos, whose act was turning into a princess, a unicorn and a pop corn within three seconds. I am not convinced that he meant pop corn, however he then proceeded to perform the act, it it wasn’t entirely clear that he was a princess or unicorn either.
