I like nasturtriums and had tried to grow them a few times in Extremadura, but couldn’t keep them alive in the summer. So I thought I’d try here.
I’ve been so pleased that the ones I planted from seed have taken so well and are flowering. And I also notice that they grow wild too!
Roots
More roots coming from the garden! We’re going to see if we can borrow a chopping machine to cut them up – otherwise I guess we’ll let them dry and burn them or take them to the tip…
Beach
Rueta beach which is the beach at the end of the road. This is interesting as we can see how the seaweed is being washed out to sea again.
