Chicks are doing well, although they are in the straggly stage where they just look like they’ve had a bad fright. Their proper feathers are coming through and, being silkies, this gives them random tufts. They are still looking grumpy – I am sure that 24 hour light doesn’t help! They will need their heat lamp for just another couple of weeks.
