Another thing that we’ve noticed is Daddy Long Legs. There are lots of them and we hadn’t noticed that we’d not been aware of any in Min House. Now, is this becuase there weren’t any, or because the chickens etc ate them or their eggs (I’m not sure where do come from), was it too cold…. But anyway, we have the delight of them fluttering round the bedroom at night!
Been to see Dad a couple of times, last Friday when he was very very tired and slept most of the time we were there and Weds of this week (yesterday) when he was on top form and very well. He did ask who the father of Helens baby was though. Apparently on Saturday he told Mum that the father was Herbert. Slightly concerning as this is Helens rabbit!!!
We didn’t get interviews for the recycling canvasser jobs – hmmm. I’d like to think it was becuase we are over qualified….
However, I have been accepted though as a ‘mystery shopper’ for NOP, and am now awaiting being offered assigments. Trouble is they are over subscribed in Bristol – but actively recruiting in the Carlisle area. Typical!
I’ve made Helen and Pauls baby a pair of booties. I think they are great – little furry ones. I am now knitting a little outfit to go with it. Ian had a fantastic idea for a outfit for it. Watch this space…
We went to Frome today as the Black Swan Gallery are advertising for a part time marketing person and I might apply so we were checking it out. Frome has changed – very upmarket. Full of deli’s, organic shops and extremely clean 4×4’s. Catherine Hill which used to be dead grotty is now dead smart and a bit arty.
This weekend there is a craft fare in Bristol’s ‘Artisan Quarter’??????? Which I believe is sort of where the old fruit market used to be at the bottom of Bath Road. Artisan Quarter – pretentions – I think so!!!
