We had not seen Davy today and this is unusual. So Ian started to have a bit of a hunt around, we checked the house first off incase he got locked in one of the rooms, and then the barns. Whilst Ian was out looking and calling he could hear a cat responding – and thought it might be Davy. But the meow was coming from over the wall in one of the yards further down. So armed with a ladder Ian scaled the wall into the next door yard, and then over again into the yard next door – and there Davy appeared. Davy was smart enough to climb the ladder that Ian put down to him and Ian then man (cat) handled him over into our yard. Not sure what happened – perhaps he got in but couldn’t get out, but luckily he was fine. Ian says that the yard where he found him was full of sheep – so good job really that no one found Ian wandering round this yard in his wellies with a ladder otherwise I think he would have looked very suspicious. As it was I think someone looking out of their rear windows would have wondered about the loco Ingles. Or perhaps not….
