Genghis is in trouble

He broke in to say hello the Debbies sheep. She asked that we keep him shut up now, as now he has familiarised himself with the opposite sex, he will be intent on getting back in that field. I must admit to thinking she should stop her ewes corrupting our ram lamb, rather than the other way around, but Genghis is now locked away in the stable with the haylage. Although locking him away in a stable full of food doesn’t seem like much of a punishment to me.

Another chick went dopey yesterday so bought it in, but it died. So we bought back in some of the smaller ones that we put out earlier this week and will keep them in until they are a bit bigger. I’m not sure if it is the cold, we have had them off the heat lamp for a couple of weeks and the house is jolly cold – but perhaps it isn’t as cold as outside. Anyway, the ones we have bought in seem quite happy to be back in their old room.

Tinks has worked out she can get over the gate without the need to climb on Basil. See pic.
