I broke the news to Manuel today of my vision for our Hanging Gardens of Babylon / Greco / Roman / Byzantine vision for the patio. Happily, this seemed to excite him rather than cause him any concerns. And he even went as far as to say that he liked working with us because he enjoyed doing things that we a bit different. We’ve been given the task of drawing up a plan and we’ll take it from there.
One thing that we will do is to have a channel in the middle of the yard to collect water. This ought to keep the back of the house dry and stop flooding.
Puppies should be coming this weekend. We’ll need to read up about training. I guess at four weeks, however, getting them to do anything other than play, sleep and poo will be a little unreasonable. They will live in the shower room, where there’s not too much that they can harm themselves with. It’s also easy to clean. I don’t know how big they will be, however they will certainly be too young to spend time unsupervised.
