Hola Villagarcia!

That’s the kind of thing we big rock stars say when we greet our adoring audience from the stage.

And if the nice ladies from the Blue Moon Orquestra had allowed me anywhere near the microphone at 2am this morning, I’m pretty sure I’d have said the exact same thing.

Last night was the start of Villagarcia’s first carnival of the year and Kate felt it might be nice if we showed our faces at the judging of the Fancy Dress competition at 11pm last night.

So we found ourselvee wondering around the village last night trying to work out where the noise was coming from. We eventually found the huge hall by the bus station, which we’d walked past a few times but had never really noticed.

We had a bit of a look through the door and I think I was saying that having satisfied ourselves as to where it was, we could go home when a lady seemed to sugget we should enter. It may have seemed rude to demur se we did enter.

We found orselves drinking gin and lemon. Firstly with the local policeman, then with the mayor and then with one of the librarians.

It was at about this point that we managed to become separated and I seemed to gravitate towards the stage.

Now I have to say I’m really not too sure how the following really panned out, and unfortunately Kate was in the loos during the start of it. However I’m pretty sure I was invited on stage as part of a “let’s pick on the saddest people in the audience” competition.

Regardless of how it happened, by the time Kate returned from the loos, I was in full swing performing some of the finest moves from S Club 7’s dance repertoire.

Immodest as this may sound, I was Ace!

The band are due to perform this afternoon as well. I expect they’ll be hoping I turn up. I think I might as well.
