I dreamt that Ian got arrested for buying a bright green kitchen. It was a very vivid dream – as, indeed, was the color of the kitchen. There is a message there somewhere.
We’ve got a list of 98 things to cost. This ranges from the marginally interesting such as showers and hob or oven for the kitchen, through to the highly uninteresting such as sockets and light switches. Even if we don’t replace all our current switches and sockets (although it would be good to have sockets that all work), we’ll need new ones in kitchen etc. We’re not really familiar with the different electrical fittings available so we’ll go to a shop and see we’ll go to an electrical store and see what we like.
The plans are continuing – once we’ve costed our list of things we can work out whether we need to cut back on anything, or at least prioritize. The floor plan below has changed a bit – we realized we’d forgotten the washing machine so needed to adjust the size of the cupboard under the stairs.
We bought some house magazines, really to look for websites and look at websites to get company names – however that generated some conversation about bathroom styles.
