We’ve picked more peppers! There are still more growing, but I think they are coming to an end.
And I picked some more gourds, I think we have 6 or 7 that are left on the vine which haven’t started to dry out yet, so I’ll get those later.
There have been more strong waves – this is the next beach along which is the surfing beach – but no surfers there during these waves…
And more vet visits.
Both Dumpling and Pixie had to go to the vet last week. Dumpling has been coughing, mainly at night or when she has been lying down for a while (ie all the time). I wondered if it may have been her heart, so we took her along. She actually has a throat infection, but she does have an enlarged heart, but not at a level yet to need medication. So she is taking antibiotics for her throat and we need to keep an eye on her in case she has problems with her heart.
And Pixie has another rash and is starting to loose her fur. This is the same as she had before a few years ago, and the vet gave us a shampoo which she needs to be washed in every-other day. Which she isn’t a fan of!
And Primrose is due another checkup. She is eating on her own and hopefully will be putting on weight. She’s very much normal (for a very un-normal cat!!), other than her eating. But it does seem that she’s eating ok at the moment.
