I haven’t seen this yet, but apparently we’re featured in A Place in the Sun magazine this month as the couple considering a move abroad. See page 112 if Kate is correct. Kate has been renamed Nicola, though I’m not convinced I’m referred to as Git-Face, as she claims.
We have been asked if we’d be interested in appearing on the TV programme, but as it involves 2 weeks filming, I don’t think they could afford us. Seems like a lot of hassle for free travel and bed and board for a couple of weeks, particularly as one week of that would be spent considering properties in this country. Think the programme’s called A Place in the Sun: Home and Away and the premise behind it is comparing what you can get here and abroad for the same money. Hence a week looking at places in Scotland, which would seem rather a waste of time.
We’ve had snow here tonight. It was quite heavy driving home between Brampton and here, and I thought I might be looking at a day off work, snowed in. However it was a little short lived and we’ve had some rain since then so I don’t think we’ll wake tomorrow to find the countryside blanketed in snow.
Well, well, stardom at last! Yes we do watch that program (sorry that’s a computer programme), and we do see some very interesting properties in some lovely places. It would be a cheap way of finding your ideal property in the Spanish Pyrenees, perhaps even Andorra where I can get some really cheap cigs.Go for it!
