We haven’t had any rain now for a few days, which is nice, although there is a 95% chance of rain today. We’ve taken quite a lot of stuff out of my workshop and I won’t worry about putting it back in again until the roof has been done. A beam and some tiles fell down in the chicken barn, so we’re going to have to put that on our list too.
I had a good class yesterday with my 8 year olds. Ian calls them the cult of Kate. He said yesterday that he wasn’t sure whether they were screaming through fun or terror. I must admit that I felt that the level of fun was getting too much, so next week I think we’ll do some more boring work. This week we were doing ‘there is’, ‘there are’, ‘there is not’ and ‘there are not’. You wouldn’t believe the amount of hilarity that they found in this.
Ian is still enjoying his photography and is getting up early every morning to take his photo of the day. He’s found some photography groups on Flickr that he’s joined. One of these is a local group of Extremadura photography – http://www.flickr.com/groups/extremadura_en_fotos/. You will see that Ian has posted a couple of his photos to the group.
Not much else to report really. We seem to be spending all of our time, when we’re not working on things for other people, working on our own sites. The other night had us in a long and protracted as to what category to put a knitted dust bunny pattern into. Our fun Saturday nights aren’t the same as they used to be….!!
