Ian’s been working on a path in the front garden. This is looking great! The ‘cobbles’ are made with cement wrapped in clingfilm. Ian puts them down and they sort of set into each other. When they are dry he will use a heat gun to melt the plastic off, then put mortar into the gaps.
It has been a big job as the house is built on rock, so in some places he’s had to chip rock away to make it flat and in others fill in with bits of crushed stone.
