What constitutes a plague? The reason why we were pondering this was when we went asparagus picking, one olive grove we went to was completely baron – and full of caterpillars. Full of very fat looking caterpillars. Those that weren’t racing across the ground heading towards any remaining leaves were sat, gently digesting their feast on the small stalks that they had left. We had a generally good haul from everywhere else, however there was nothing to be found here. So, would that constitute a plague I wonder?
