Well, I won’t get boring about the weather, but it has been exceptionally wet for this time of year. Last year we were struggling to keep our plants from frying, this year they are all suffering from the plant equivalent of footrot. Jim and Viv headed to Granada last Monday after a good few days, although the weather was bad, we did seem to do a lot. Monday evening, however, I was overcome with lurgy and went to bed not to reappear till Friday. It was just a nasty cold, but it did knock me sidewise rather. This weekend we went to Salvatierra to a mini potfest. Apparently they take it in turns with their twin town in Portugal to host the fiesta. It was really very good and there were lots of things to buy, but we didn’t – not with our very own potter in the family!! We were tempted by a clay bread oven, however. Perhaps next year…. We saw the first (and only?) Botijo – water jar, to go to space.
I do have a video of a stork feeding its young, however can’t work out how to upload it on my laptop, so I’ll get it up on the mac over the next few days…
