This time of year is sometimes referred to as the second spring. It is easy to see why, when the grass is coming back and the countryside is turning green again. Where it is still warm during the day, flowers are coming out too. I think we are noticing it more this year as we are seeing more of the countryside while we are out on our bikes.
I’ve been harvesting cotton – I don’t think that Ian will need to worry about wearing a handknitted cotton sweater this year…!
