Tinkerbelle and Pixie’s Bell

Tinkerbelle is enjoying going for a walk and doesn’t tire at all. If you look carefully at the photo Ian took of Tinkerbelle out for a walk, you’ll see me followed by Pixie. Pixie is so small and the exact same color of the earth in the olive groves, it’s quite difficult to keep track of her.  Also, she walks very close to my feet so I have to stop to look down to make sure she’s following. Therefore I have bought her a tiny little sheep bell to wear on her collar, I guess it’s one for lambs. It’s a little brass bell and has quite a loud tinkle, so we know that she’s following along or stopped to investigate something disgusting.

Pixie’s little bell also might help Millie who has now joined us in the walks. Millie might be able to follow the tinkle of the sound of Pixie – but I’m not sure yet if it will work. I also bought a tiny bell for Millie. She has two modes for walking – a complete standstill and running full pelt so a bell would be useful for her too. I haven’t put it on her yet as Pixie was a little surprised by the ringing sound every time she took a step and I don’t want to put Millie off her walks as she’s still getting her confidence of being out in the big wide open world.
