I noticed last week that Tinkerbelle was coughing at night, and on Thursday she seemed to loose some energy so Ian took her to the vet for a check up. He left her there and they said they’d ring when it was time to pick her up, however when they rang they said they wanted to keep her in there overnight as they were giving her some treatment.
We went to get her on Saturday and they appeared to have removed fluid that was in her body. They don’t know what caused it, however we do know that she has a weak heart so that could be the reason. So she’s being treated for the fluid first and then they’ll find out what the cause is. She also has tumours in her mammary glands which I’m hoping are benign.
She’s back to her normal naughty self, however, and doesn’t seem to phased by her night away. So hopefully it will all get sorted out soon.
