We trimmed all the pups on Sunday – not one of our most favorite activities, although they were very good this time. It says on our trimmer instructions that dogs like being trimmed as they enjoy the quality one-to-one time with their owners. Obviously the pups have been reading something completely different, as they mainly seem to enjoy squirming and trying to get away.
When we trimmed Henry we found a small growth on his ear. It wasn’t like a normal wart, and seeing that he has a bit of a history with growths, we took him to the vet who chopped it off, and also took off a couple of normal warty things. The vet noticed that Henry has cataracts, but I don’t know how advanced. We won’t get them operated on. I know that they can be surgically removed, however I don’t think that our vet would do it and I don’t really want Henry to have a general anesthetic if we can avoid it.
The last couple of days have seen a significant increase in interest in printable union jacks that I have published online, so I quickly made some more to put on AwayWithThePixels (flags and bunting), just to get some people looking at the site. I feel a tad cynical, as I am firmly of the ‘so what’ camp when it comes to the royal wedding, but hey, a gal’s gotta do what a gal’s gotta do to promote her digital goodies.
