A cow arrived in the field next door. I think I’ve already taken a photo of this cow as I think it was living in a field looking over the sea. I’m not sure how long it will stay for – but hopefully it won’t escape.
We certainly don’t want it escaping into our garden as our huerta is starting to grow!

That’s potatoes coming through at the front.
Ian has been working hard removing the roots of brambles and heather. You can see the mound of them towards the back of the photo – and that’s only part of them as we have another mound in the other part of the garden.
I sprayed the heathers with weedkiller at the back of the house and to the side. I am guessing I’ll have to do it a few times to make any dent in the heather population. I had read that some heathers are edible and taste like asparagus. Unfortunately our type is toxic!

Here’s our strawberry harvest! I do have some more plants in the soil, but I might have planted them a bit late for strawberries this year.
