Well – having rediscovered Daisy’s luminous ball and enjoyed a couple of mins playing outside, her ball went down a little drainage tunnel under the front of the house and got stuck.
And there is NOTHING that looks as sad a Spanish Water Dog who has lost her ball. Except perhaps when I ate a peach the exact same colour and size of her ball and she was convinced I was eating her ball. She managed to combine extreme sadness, with a look of horror and bewilderment. It sort of put me off eating peaches in front of her!
So… Ian to the rescue, armed with drain rods and saving the day 🙂
