The poppies are still looking like a streak of red along the sides of the lanes. They are really quite a sight. The farmers are well into harvesting now, which is a sign that summer is on its way!
Nothing new to report on the pups and the young mastin. I hadn’t really expected owners to turn up, so assuming that we don’t hear anything by tonight I’ll start looking for homes. We won’t start looking for a home for the mastin yet, as he is still not eating and I guess it’s a 50/50 chance if he pulls through. The three of them are in the barn, which gives the pups plenty of room to run around, we’re not introducing them to our gang as we fully intend to find them homes and don’t want them to become part of the family.
