This is Rosie!
As you may notice, there’s only one pup. This is because permanent homes were found for all of the pups – which was great news. Obviously great for the pups, but good for us too. However nice to know we would have helped out.
We went to pick her up today and we had the pick of the five. We’d already chosen, however we were pleased when we got there to find that we were still happy with our choice. No real science behind our choice, four had no tails, so we picked the one with a tail! She also seems to have big paws, which is good as we want a big dog. They all seemed nice though, although they did appear to mug Ian by gathering together in one puppy pincer movement. Quite amazing to watch as puppies dangled off his arms and legs.
Rosie seems very nice natured, not at all scared and has taken the whole day in her stride. It was a vet who was doing the co-ordination and she was in a great place, sharing a paddock with horses, cats and dogs, so she is well used to other animals. Although she is not much smaller than Tinkerbelle, she is very much a baby and struggles with steps – and basically anything that involves coordination.
The other dogs were suitable unimpressed. They were more concerned that she may be getting nicer food than them than anything else.
I am sure some better pics will appear over the next day or so….
