While this might look like there has been a terrible accident, Babbity Bumble was in fact sleeping on the beanbag. It is quite unusual for a cat to lie like this, so I think it is a sign that she is relaxed in her new home. So far they have met Davy who was very good, Sam who was a little nervous, Bob who was more interested in the contents of their litter tray and Dookems who is still recovering from shock.

We’ve dusted off our bikes and started going for a cycle ride every day. We’ve both agreed that this is a great place to cycle. Ian says it is good because it is nice and flat, whereas as I have been surprised by the amount of mountains that have sprung up. We rarely use the car and when we do we’d rarely take a track that we didn’t know (unless it happened by accident), so this is a great way to see some more of the area.
Jesus is painting the side of the house. Don’t know why this still makes me laugh after 4 years. He’s doing it on a ladder, which takes some nerve. The side of the house is very high.
It’s San Juan fiesta this weekend – and Spain have their next match in the World Cup tonight. What fun!!
