I have a wonderful new game that the pups and I are enjoying at the moment. They have got used to the fact that when we shut the door to the back room (kitchen-to-be), they can run back through the house and come out through the door by the dining room. They can obviously do that the other way too. Our game is me standing by the door, opening it, walking through and the pups then run round the long way, I open the door and step back out again and they run back round again the other way. They have a lot of fun doing that, although I must admit I was a little concerned yesterday when Basil joined in, and the sight of 11 stones of Pyraneean dog gaining momentum coming up the hallway was a tad scary.
It is still raining. I think it is going to rain for ever……….
Ian has noticed that we have some leaks in the roof of the house. Nothing like the leaks in my work shop, but a couple of drips which weren’t there last year. I think that our decision to get the house roof retiled has been made just in time. Happily this will be a simple job, but if we left it damage might have been caused which would make it a much bigger job.
