An early morning knock at the door found me staring bleary eyed at Manuel and Felix who had come round to do the finishing that I’ve spoken about. Oh joy. I must admit it was quite nostalgic – flamenco on the radio, wailing from Felix and us getting under Manuel’s feet.
We’ve asked him about reroofing the workshop, he suggested putting windows in – we’re now thinking balconies. Oh, how he must love us!
I was hoping to start this week ahead, however three days of trying to sort out Vista problems on my computer (my laptop was going so slowly & constantly hanging up that it was driving me to distraction) and an aborted attempt to upgrade to Windows 7, meant that we were decidedly behind.
We didn’t get a chance to finish our polymer claying of the bedside tables, so that will have to wait for a while now. We’ve now got lots of polymer clay ‘bits’ that we need to mosaic our tables with. In case you wondered what it we were doing with the polymer clay, here is the story so far…
Oh yes, and Ian did a clean reinstall on my laptop and it is decidedly faster, so perhaps I won’t need to go to Windows7 just yet.
