It’s still hot, although rain is showing on the weather forecast for tomorrow. The weather forecasts are unnervingly accurate here, so we’ll make sure that the drains are clear as this will be the first proper rain this year.
E&E returned home on Friday. This was their first trip without any rain. Hopefully they enjoyed their stay. They made a lot of use of the swimming pool – we’ve never been in the swimming pool so it was good to hear positive reports.
We’re going to see the sheet man today and see what he has. We went on Friday, but he wasn’t at home so hopefully he’ll be there today.
We’ve moved the cooker from outside to inside. Ed helped Ian do this when they were here. This seems a little odd as we were very used to the cooker outside. However it will be more practical inside during the winter. Ian has some plans for the new kitchen, which won’t involve our current cooker – so it will arrive back outside again at some point!
