…. so the plan is that Ian is going to go and look at a couple of odd ball houses next week, the ones that fall outside of what we were looking for but were a bit different and had the potential to be a bit special.
One is in south Catalunya, near Tortosa, the other is over the Andulcian border into Extremadura and near the Portugese border.

The other http://65.108.76.22/kaycontinental/sk_property.php?&id=85 is completely unusual. This is in a village and the website is in Spanish with no translation – however there are some pics and you can run it through a translation engine – however I am not sure that helps much!. http://www.villagarciadelatorre.com/contenido.htm Press the second button down on the left hand side before the music drives you mad, the bottom two buttons on the left ‘imagenes hoy’ give pictures of the village today, the other one is pics of yesteryear.
We have a completely open mind – these two we had to see because they were so different, we are confident we can get a nice farmhouse, so thought we ought to explore these to give a different perspective of what we can consider.
Owls – there are four youngsters, and this morning Ian and I watched with amusement as one of the young had got a bit ahead of themselves and had got stuck on the top of the entrance to their nest and did several ungainly attempts to get back in. We did think we’d (Ian) would have to rescue him!
The info from the house nr Portugal doesn’t give some of the interesting pics. I’ve posted these seperately – the agent emailed these through to us.
