well, Crumpets babies still appear to be alive, although anything else which tries to set foot in the cage obvioulsy doesn’t. I put a carrot in for her earlier, and it was like watching pirahnas at work. I hope she never confuses me for a carrot! I have been looking on ebay for cheap cameras we can stick in her nest to watch developments- bunny cam!
Today was our craft fare day. Ian got asked if we sold a soap with a dolphin on it because the lady was ‘mad for dolphins’. Unfortunately Ian didn;t hear the whole of what she said and questioned the fact she ‘was mad’.
I sold a teenager a soap as a present for their mother and the teenager asked ‘what do you do with it?’. ‘It’s soap’ I said, ‘what’ they said, ‘soap’ I repeated. ‘What. I have just spent over a pound on soap??’ said they with horror. Grrrr.
We were very restrained and did not do the rounds of charity shops.
Ians birthday present is arriving tomorrow. Before everyone goes into panic – yes I know it is 10 weeks early! Watch this space….
