Well, one of our offerees have had an offer put in on their place from 1st time buyers and therefore would be in a position to proceed with no chain. We need to confirm the position re their buyers (not falling for that one again!) and also check to see what has happened with our other offerees this weekend. The couple are the ones who came out a couple of weekends ago and obvioulsy fell in love with the place. They came out again last weekend and have been out with parents etc during the week driving by and looking at the area. We’re not counting our chickens yet (aaaagh not chickens again), but have tentatively started thinking again that we could be on the move.
TT appeared with no more chicks this morning – just the five. However a little brown chick wandered into the garden apparently from no where. It seemed quite weak so I popped it under FGH as her chicks are the youngest. Luckily hens have no sense of smell so as such do not reject chicks if they don’t smell right. They seem quite happily to adopt spare ones – but I am not sure whether this little one might be a bit weak to survive but I think it has the best chance under a hen rather than in a box on its own.
We are planning to go to a gallery in Newcastle today which I’ve been thinking about asking about putting my jewellery in – interestingly this is what we had planned last time we had an offer placed. However we will go today unless anything more exciting happens.
