Before, when he spoke, he had quite a cute little ‘Mr punch’ voice, however he seems to be trying out something rather deep and sinister now. The sort of thing that, if heard in the middle of the night, would definitely set the heart racing! Hopefully, this is just him trying out new things and he’ll settle on something less scary.
Of course, he isn’t really speaking but mimicking noises – but as neither of us speak with a highly sinister voice, not sure where that is coming from.
He has been joining in the barking for quite a while now, but he’s now becoming more realistic, and it’s changed from a parrot making a dog barking noise, to a very realistic bark – so much so – a few times now we’ve gone off looking to see what’s going on. He makes a Pixie / Millie type bark, and it can be quite confusing to hear ‘them’ barking, when they are sat in front of us!
I think he’s also started to make the noise of a computer notification so it will be interesting to see how that develops.
Surprisingly, apart from barking, our house is quite quiet, so there’s not too much else for him to learn to mimic, so perhaps we’ll have to play him noises to learn!
