So we still have no car! It’s been four weeks. Ian could have bought the bits from the UK, but it would have been more expensive – and we still wouldn’t have had the right tool to fit it. So while it’s been frustrating, having the bits and not being able to fit them would probably have been more frustrating!!
The main concern has been the dog’s medication, but now we’ve found we can buy it from the chemist that’s actually a better solution.
But the good thing is that the MOT will start from when the car passes. So in effect we’ll be getting a few weeks ‘free’.
Rain is forecast for tomorrow – first time for absolutely ages. And it looks like a storm, so we will check drains etc first, to make sure we don’t have any flooding.
