Here’s Ian showing Percy our fancy new identity cards!
Yesterday we went to Merida to collect our new identity cards. These are so much better than the little pieces of paper we had before. I’m not sure how many years the paper cards were used, but they were introduced as a cost saving during the financial crisis, and this coincided with our renewing our first cards so we’ve had little bits of paper rather than proper photo id for the last 10 years and this has meant we have had to carry our passports around too as we have no other photo id.
Percy Gets Bigger
He’s still a tiny little chap, but he’s definitely growing and importantly, he’s now growing fur. He was pretty much bald when he came to us (although it was difficult to tell in the photos), but now he has a good coat of light brown fur.
