His new food finally arrived. You will see there is much more in this than just the sunflower seeds that he used to eat before he came to us. He is getting much better now, but he still looks at the fruit with horror! In this new food there are huge chunks of fruit and nuts and other things so he’s a lucky parrot!
I’ve said before that he is like living with a two-year-old, and he does make us laugh. The other day I put some bread in his cage and he loves fresh breads and he loves picking up the soft bits in the middle, but he was in one of his moods and was just pulling out the bits of soft bits of bread and throwing it on the floor of his cage and then all of a sudden he did a comedy double take when he realized that it was his favorite bread that he was dropping on the floor and he kept looking at me and then looking at the bread on the floor and then looking at me and looking at the bread on the floor I think he wanted me to pick it up for him. I didn’t know it was possible for a parrot to make such a horrified face! It would be the same as me realizing that I had thrown of vegetarian sausage roll on the floor, or thrown a precious glass of cider on the floor in the strop!
