One of the knock-on effects from the allergic reaction I had earlier this year was my skin peeled – and every bit peeled – even the inside of my mouth 🙁
And it took some time to finish, with my feet being the last and it must have taken a couple of months for it to stop.
However, the unexpected consequence of that is I now have LOVELY feet!!! In summer, I normally suffer with cracked heels, which can be uncomfortable. However, now I have lovely smooth heels there’s no sign of hard skin or cracking. I think people would pay $$$ to get a treatment with the same result.
Another thing, that I guess would have been obvious, but I hadn’t thought about, was I lost a lot of hair – a LOT of hair! But that had some unexpected consequences too!
My hair dries now in seconds! Even during the summer my hair would take a while to dry, but with much less of it, it is literally dry as soon as I leave the shower. And another thing I noticed is that wearing a ponytail would often be uncomfortable after a while – to the extent that I sometimes would get a headache. However now I can wear a ponytail all day and don’t feel it at all!
My hair is growing back, so I’ll have to enjoy the super-speedy drying time etc now while I can 🙂
