Cat In a Box

Here is Pirata in a box! Given he is a cat with no eyes, it is truly remarkable how he finds boxes. He was in this one literally as soon as the box was empty. Ian moved the box off the table and Pirata was in it again as soon as he could!

Pirata isn’t unique in this, I remember when we once spent $$$ buying a lovely tall cat tree, only for the cats to spend time sat in the boxes and ignoring the cat tree.

I remember YEARS ago, watching an episode of Dragon’s Den, when a man presented the idea for decorated cardboard boxes for cats – so a box like a house or castle. And all the Dragons turned him down – and quite dismissively. I remember thinking then that none of them could have cats – because anyone who had a cat would know that a cat would absolutely LOVE its very own cardboard box – and doting cat owners would probably be more than happy to spend some money on a box decorated as a castle rather than having an old Amazon box littering up their living room.

And here’s the Dimrose photo of her sat in a bucket – I love the look on her face ‘what’s strange about this…’.

And no news on the moving front – but that’s good, as no news in this case is definitely good news. We’re awaiting some information from the solicitor because our house paperwork needs updating (sigh…). Although it’s relatively small – the measurements of the house are in meters linea and now they have to be meters squared – we’re not sure what the time implication will be.
