We had rain on Wednesday – and proper rain. But that appears to have been it for the time being.
Our little Pixie bell has been a great success. Millie does seem to be aware of the bell when she is out with Pixie and whether it’s just that she’s now familiar with our route, or the sound of the bell (or most likely a combination), she trots along on her walks following more or less along with us. She does sometimes get something in her paws, and she just sits down at that point so we have to keep a close eye on her. She also sometimes gets stuck in a forest – which, when you are Milly sized, is actually only a particularly large piece of grass.
Tinkerbelle has been dropped from the walking team for a day or so. We noticed she wasn’t eating her meals as well as she had been. We also noticed that she hoovers up figs and olives when she is out walking and guessed the two things might be connected.
The schools started back this week – what a shock that will be for all concerned!
