…you have to imagine these taken through a non-smudgey window. Unfortunately our window is rather blurry and we need a tall ladder to clean it. We did inherit a tall ladder with the house, but it was held together with woodworm spit and little bits of wire – then Ian had to cut it in half to get it out of the undercover area, so it’s not very helpful.
We can see the sunrise through our living room window and there’s a few minutes when it’s like watching a watercolor painting taking form. The sky changes as the sun moves from the horizon and starts making its way into the sky. The best mornings are the ones where there is a little cloud to catch the sun and to make the colours.
