A signpost has appeared pointing people to Fontao – which is a surprise and perhaps will stop the delivery driver randomly leaving parcels at different venues in different towns for us.
It’s still a little unclear as to where Fontao actually is, or at least how far it extends. I think it might just be us and the group of houses across the road, as according to that sign, people at the other end are in Rueta, and the people at the top of the hill have yet another name. So perhaps no more than half a dozen houses. Ian tried to work it out – and also work out the house numbering, but none of it made sense, I guess houses have fallen down / got divided etc over the years and it all seems a bit random!
Wind!

We came back and found this – the wind had taken the parasol and blown it up the garden. You can see the base which fell over, which is where it was blown from. Also the bench was blown over and my crocs were blown from where they were drying on the table. I think that’s the biggest gust of wind we’ve had so far! The front of the house is actually quite protected, so I wonder if this came from another direction.
Burela

There was a festival in Burela this weekend celebrating Bonito, which I think is tuna. As part of this there was a craft fare which we went to – and people were decorating the pavements with flower petals. This was with hydrangea flowers and eucalyptus seed pods. We didn’t see the finished versions, but I imagine they were striking.
And this is a photo looking back at Burela, which is a view we don’t normally see as we’d walked up towards the port.
