We took Bobbins to see the vet about her eyes. She has no right eye, and they are going to let us know about her left eye. I am sure that they will suggest removing her left eye and closing the right one, but we’ll wait and see what they say. It’s a shame really as it won’t be very nice for her, she is such an exceptionally happy little pup and doesn’t know any different. However her big eye must be uncomfortable and her non existent eye will be at risk from infection so it will have to be done (if that’s what the vet suggests). Here she is modeling her cooling tutu. This should be wet when she puts it on and it keeps her cool when she is outside.
You can see the marks on her head where she bumps into things. She hasn’t mastered the art of jumping yet, so she’s inclined to run into a step rather than jump up it. I remember Bob doing the same when he was a puppy. He used to run into the back door at Great Elm rather than use the cat flap. He would see the cats run out through the cat flap and think he could do the same by just running at the door.
