We had a picnic on the way back from the supermarket at a little beach around the corner from San Cibrao, and near the aluminium plant. While we were there a ship went out of the port – and a little pilot boat was in front of it – no doubt to steer it away from Mermaid Island.
And another one came in to take its place. It was quite interesting seeing one go out and one come in to the port. I don’t know how often ships go into the aluminium plant, certainly not daily, so we were quite fortunate to see them pass.
While we were there, I took some photos of some monsters I made. Our house is a bit gloomy for photos – so this was the perfect solution!
