Not asparagus but…

Not sure why, but these photos are all a bit faded.

We discovered that nasturtium seeds can be used as capers, and are rather nice. Having collected the ones in our garden we decided to do a bit of nasturtium seed scrumping. They grow wild here, and there are great swathes of them around, so we thought that we’d do a bit of collecting.

and there were plenty of plants to pick from

We got enough to fill a fairly big glass jar and it was quite a nice activity, so I think we’ll definitely do it again!
