This year, the annual tomato growing duties have fallen to me and so far just over half of the seeds planted have germinated. The seeds were a Christmas present from Ed and Emma and the Ukrainian Purple variety are my current favourite as they’ve all germinated. I’ve also planted Chillis but so far none of them have germinated. Earlier this year, I spent days clearing the weeds from the back garden and am keeping it under control with a bit of weeding twice a week, so soon we should have some tomatoes out there.
